I’ve always been really fit, having played rugby for 23 years, including playing rugby league for Britain. Then last year, I did my back in lifting something heavy at work and ended up with a prolapsed disk. Shortly after that I had a fall which made it even worse and I was in a really bad way. I had massages from the physio at work and was given an exercise regime for my core muscles by the hospital, but it has been a long, slow recovery with a lot of discomfort. I began to realise that an important part of getting my back better was sorting out my posture. I always felt it was quite poor and used to joke that the only time I ever stood up straight was when I put a suit on! Then my girlfriend told me about MBTs and everything changed. As soon as I put them on I felt my posture improve and I quickly noticed the muscles in my thighs and bum were getting tighter.
They’ve defi nitely helped with my back recovery. I wear them every day to work now and they’re extremely comfortable. Several of my old rugby mates have aches and pains. I’ve been recommending that they get some MBTs to sort themselves out too! What more can I say? MBT, you’ve converted me. |
