Since I had my son 5 years ago I’ve been conscious that my posture had got worse, first from the pregnancy then all the carrying and buggy-pushing. I almost felt I was collapsing inwards, with my shoulders curving, and I had no time to go to yoga classes to or any other kind of organised therapy to sort it out. For a while I saw a personal trainer which helped with my fitness, but not my posture. I heard about MBTs from our childminder. I commented one day on her rather odd-looking shoes and she told me that she wore them to help her backache, and that they were incredibly comfortable. For the first time in years I was standing straight and that made me feel better all over. I now wear them whenever I can, I even slip them on during my lunch hour at work and go for a walk. They’re great value. With my current lifestyle I’d never get my money’s worth from a gym membership, but with my MBTs I feel I’m giving my body a work-out every day. |
