Like most businesswomen I was wearing high heels all day, every day and it played havoc with my posture. My pelvis got pushed backwards and my lower vertebrae became compressed until I was waddling like a duck! The tipping point came getting off a train one day in Manchester, trapping a nerve and ending up with excruciating backpain. I dragged myself to a physio who gave me some exercises, but mainly told me to ditch the high heels and buy some MBTs. I’d never heard of them before, however the effect was dramatic.
